System Guard is an option within the managed services portfolio that is available 24/7. The System Guard service operates during and outside business hours to give customers access to a SpotIT 3rd line systems engineer on 24x7x365 basis for emergencies (priority 1 critical incidents).
The system engineer needs to access the system(s) affected via IP VPN in order to provide this service. If the problem cannot be solved remotely, the system engineer will go on-site.
The System Guard service is on permanent standby for a fixed fee per month. Each intervention by the systems engineer (remotely or on-site) is charged separately.
SpotIT guarantees the remote System Guard intervention within 4 hours of your call. If SpotIT needs to go on-site, the systems engineer will arrive within 24 hours of the decision to go on-site being made (Benelux only).
